Two of the plants we chose to protect are the Ackerman Hybrid Camellia and the nearby Lilac. We decided to use the green cloth that we originally used to protect our raised beds (see, for example, …).

In order that the cloth would cover all of the Ackerman Hybrid Camellia, we decided to prune it to make it shorter.
To help support the cover, we installed 4 steel stakes around the Ackerman Hybrid Camellia and the Lilac.
