Starting to weed around the only Rose in the Rose bed which has not been pruned this spring. The Rose was surrounded by Green-headed Coneflowers [Rudbeckia laciniata]. Removed 2 large garbage bags-full of these plants. There are still a lot more Green-headed Coneflowers left in the Rose bed.
While I was doing this, Sharon was removing Pokeweeds [Phytolacca americana] in the Butterfly Bush bed, painting their roots with … and then weeding around the areas around the former Pokeweeds.
