Finished weeding of the 2nd bulb bed and proceeded to start weeding the walkway on the right side of the latter bed.

Planted 2 Grateful Red Bearded Irises in a pot and placed the pot on the porch. American Iris Society indicated that Irises should be planted in July, August or September. They recommend

It is important that the roots of newly planted irises be well established before the end of the growing season. Plant your iris at least four to six weeks before your first hard freeze or killing frost.

The 2 Grateful Red Bearded Irises is a Christmas present from LoriAnne and Michael. They were purchased from an Etsy seller.
