Gardening Diary – June 28, 2021

Fixed one of the outputs of the irrigation system at one of the Sunny Knock Out Roses [Rosa  ‘Radsunny’] in the front yard.

Green-headed Coneflowers, Double Knock Out Rose

Removed Green-headed Coneflowers which have grown in the walkway between the original bed and the original bulb bed and in the latter bed. Many of these plants were growing in the Double Knock Out Rose [Rosa ‘Radtko’] next to the original bulb bed and were removed. As seen in the picture above, there are more Green-headed Coneflowers in the rose bed that need to be removed.

Plastic-covered steel plant stakes were used to provide support for the plants in the Green-headed Coneflowers bed. They were installed at the back and of the left side of the bed today.
